Small Craft Advisory floats at the intersection of urban planning, policy, and change. Utilizing the power of video to to tell intimate and unique stories, Small Craft helps to further the vision of cities, communities, developers, citizens, and change agents. Through documentary-style video Kris works with clients to clearly communicate their vision.

Kris Carter’s work is regularly featured in film festivals, on television, and digitally with national organizations, private companies, cities, and towns. He has received awards for filmmaking and regularly produces for Boston area clients. An active urban planner and cyclist, in 2011 he was recognized by the American Planning Association/American Institute of Certified Planners (APA/AICP) for his community planning work with a national award.
